Custom Website for the Lynchburg Police Department
Project Overview
In 2019, the City of Lynchburg, VA’s police department decided it was time to invest in a new, mobile-friendly, and attractive website to promote the PD. The Lynchburg Police Department also needed assistance with other marketing services, including videography and photography.
Our Solution
We started working with the Lynchburg Police Department in late 2019 and launched their custom website in 2020. We started the project by collecting and organizing content, before designing site mock-ups and progressing into development. We built a custom, mobile-responsive e-commerce website in the WordPress CMS. After the website was complete, we provided training for our client’s team, allowing them to easily and quickly add new products daily.
In addition to developing the custom website, we also created a professional recruitment video for the Lynchburg Police Department, and shot hundreds of photos at eight locations throughout the City of Lynchburg.
Project Outcomes
Since we launched the new site, the Lynchburg Police Department website has been visited by more than 40,000 unique users, averaging >100 visits per day.
