The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research (IALR) was awarded a Gold Summit Award from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Blue Ridge Chapter yesterday for its GO TEC website. 434 Marketing designed and developed the custom, ADA-compliant website, which launched on July 23, 2020.
The GO TEC website serves as an informational hub to promote the GO TEC program and opportunities to get involved. In March 2020, 434 was tasked with developing a custom website that would help IALR promote GO TEC. Three months later, the new website launched.
“The website and other communication efforts will help us amplify our cause and important milestones, which are vital to successfully growing our program,” said Dr. Tammy Hurt, GO TEC Program Manager in a statement.
Within months, awareness of the GO TEC program via inbound web traffic steadily increased. GO TEC website traffic continues to accrue over time, with a 40% increase from 2020 to 2021.
The PRSA Summit Awards recognize top-tier public relations, marketing, and advertising strategies and tactics nationwide. Award submissions are reviewed by an external group of public relations professionals, and are thoroughly vetted.
